Additional Snow-Removal Power Arrives In Medford

A missive from his office tells us Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn asked Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito for extra equipment and manpower to deal with what was, at the time, an upcoming snowstorm on Thursday, Feb. 12.

Looks like she came through! The Mayor’s Office reports that three Bobcats, two front end loaders, four dump trucks, and a handful of New Jersey-based snow removal workers arrived on Feb. 15 to supplement cleanup efforts.
