Brooks School "Poetry from the Heart"

Sponsored by the Diversity committee. We will start with a pizza dinner and listen to poetry, both new and well-loved. After eating, we will learn about different poem formats and write our own poetry on hearts and leaves to read aloud and then add to our own "Poet-Tree."

 All will be encouraged to write poetry about people, observations, events, or just daily activities that are meaningful to us, expressing feelings and putting words to all of our senses.

All Brooks families are invited.
