Four Medford High Students Selected to Regional Orchestra
Members of the Northeastern District Senior Festival Orchestra will practice with guest conductors ahead of their performance in January.

MEDFORD, MA – Four Mustang musicians have been accepted to the Massachusetts Music Educators Association Northeastern District Senior Festival Orchestra.
Seniors Iverson Eliopoulos (cello) and Laura Schmidt (viola), junior Justin Tseng (cello) and sophomore Arden Ingersol (double bass) were selected after auditioning at North Andover High School on Nov. 19.
They will spend the next two months rehearsing and performing under guest conductors ahead of the festival concert on Jan. 14 at UMass Lowell's Durgin Hall.

Eliopoulos and Tseng were also invited to audition for the Massachusetts All-State Festival Orchestra based on their exceptional scores.
The MMEA Northeastern District is a subset of the Massachusetts Music Educators Association that serves 58 communities in the Bay State.
