How Long Is Medford’s Winter Break This Coming School Year?
Kids are going to like the answer.
With Christmas falling on a Wednesday this year, Medford Public Schools’ winter break will be a whopping 12.5 days.
The extra half-day off is actually only for the city’s middle and high school students, who have an early release day Friday, Dec. 20.
The district recently released its full 2013-2014 school calendar, which you can download above.

Students in grades 1-12 will return to school Wednesday, Sept. 4, the Wednesday after Labor Day; teachers and staff will return the day before. The district’s kindergarteners will return the following week, Wednesday, Sept. 11.
