Medford High Names New Guidance Director

Amelia Westmark, a guidance counselor at Medford High School, has been named as the school’s new guidance director, according to a Tuesday release from the district.

Westmark was the Greater Boston School Counselor Association’s “School Counselor of the Year” in 2011.

She received her bachelor’s in psychology and sociology from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington and has a master’s of education from Boston University.
