A Medford man was arrested Wednesday night and charged with possession of child pornography, according to a Friday release from the state Attorney General’s office.

Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Attorney General’s office obtained information in July about a computer linked to Marcano’s residence that they believe possessed child pornography. They got a search warrant for the residence, which they executed Wednesday, and discovered the illegal images, according to the release.
