Medford Snow Emergency To Continue Until At Least Tuesday

On-street parking is forbidden until further notice.

The following statement was issued by the City of Medford.

Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will remain in effect until at least Tuesday, February 10th.

Snow Emergency parking enforcement will increase during this time period as a result of the weather forecast. While the Snow Emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will be enforced.

No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an emergency artery (see list below).

During the snow emergency, the odd-even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the snow emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the even side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. We need everyone’s cooperation in order to keep our roads open and accessible.

The following streets are designated as emergency arteries and parking is not allowed during a snow emergency:

Boston Avenue, Central Avenue, College Avenue from George Street to Boston Avenue, Forest Street, Fulton Street, George Street, Governors Avenue, Grove Street, Hancock Street, Harvard Avenue, Harvard Street, High Street, Lawrence Road, Main Street, Medford Street, Mystic Avenue from Main Street to Crescent Street, Playstead Road, Riverside Avenue, Salem Street, Spring Street, Washington Street, Webster Street, Willis Avenue, Winthrop Street and Woburn.
