Miranda’s Key to Awesomeness is straddling many roles in high school, her community, and her family.  Miranda has been on the National Junior Honor society while competing in basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball.

Miranda says, “I am the kind of kid that isn’t shy or afraid of what people think of me.”  She doesn’t put herself in just one social group:  “I talk to everyone and don’t exclude someone just because of their reputation or appearance.”

In the community, Miranda wears many hats.  She helps out at the LoConte Rink snack bar, tutors younger kids, and has been a Junior Counselor at the Medford Community Schools summer camp for the last two years.

Additionally, she is part of the staff at the local basketball camp, works as a secretary at her mom’s business, and helps her father out with his political campaigns.
