A new principal has been selected for Medford's Columbus Elementary School, according to a letter from its out-going principal.
Kathleen Kay, currently the principal at Brookside Elementary School in Milford, will take over as principal on July 1, according to a letter from Columbus school principal Joan Yaeger.
The school committee held public interviews of elementary school principal candidates Wednesday night. Brooks Elementary School is also seeking a new principal.
