Traffic Alert: Delays on Broadway in Somerville Friday, Monday

Broadway, from Dartmouth Street to Grant Street in Somerville’s Winter Hill, will be milled on Friday, Aug. 15, and repaved on Monday, Aug. 18, according to the city.

The work will be down between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. Traffic will remain open in both directions, but drivers should expect delays, according to the city.

There will be no parking on this stretch of Broadway Friday and Monday during the construction hours. Resident-only parking will not be enforced on adjacent streets during this time, however.

Work will take place weather permitting – if it rains Monday, paving will take place on Tuesday.
