MA Patch Daily: Missing Child Reported, Perp in Court for Murder After 34 Years

Plus, "Jaws" returns, DWI attorney held on bail after OUI boat incident, I-93 closures, sobriety checkpoints, new restaurants, and more.

It was another busy Monday with breaking news and alerts, updated stories from the weekend, and new posts to check out on Patch. Here are some of the stories our editorial team has been working on today.

With all the brushfires lately, the rain was a welcomed weather change, even if it caused flooding and problems around the Bay State. However, there are potentially more torrential downpours on the way. Parts of I-93 will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday. Sobriety checkpoints are planned for this weekend, including in Middlesex County. Police have made an arrest in a church robbery case. “Jaws” turns 40 later this month and it will be re-shown at select movie theaters soon. A South Carolina man was killed earlier today in a motor vehicle accident. Police are looking for an alleged home burglar after two separate incidents early this morning. And Mass. State Police have added two more people to the state’s “most wanted” list.
