MA Drug Trafficker Illegally Obtained NH License: NHSP

Luis Medina aka "Miguel Roldan Jr.," an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic, currently residing in Lawrence, was arrested last week.

MANCHESTER, NH - Troop G of the New Hampshire State Police continue to make arrests in illegal aliens allegedly using fraudulent documents to gain access to state driver’s licenses.

The latest arrest last week was Luis Medina, 48, of Lawrence, MA.

According to state police, a trooper was called to the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles office in Manchester to investigate a possible suspect using false information to obtain a driver’s license, vehicle registrations, and titles.

Medina allegedly used the name “Miguel Roldan Jr.,” and stated he was 49 and living in Manchester to renew a motor vehicle registration on April 22.

The investigating trooper was en route to continue to the investigation when he reportedly saw Medina behind the wheel of a 2002 Honda Odyssey on South Willow Street, driving in the opposite direction. A second trooper was called in for assistance and Medina was stopped.

“With the help of officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Troopers were able to confirm that Medina had used a false identity to obtain his New Hampshire driver license,” according to Staff Sgt. Andrew Player of Troop G.

Medina was arrested without incident and charged with disobeying a police officer, operating after suspension- prohibitions, and multiple counts of tampering with public records.

Troopers later learned that Medina was an illegal alien from the Dominican Republic and had an outstanding warrant out of Massachusetts for trafficking controlled substances, according to Player.

Medina refused bail and was held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. He was arraigned on Monday.

The New Hampshire State Police – Troop G was assisted by members of U.S. Diplomatic Services, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles, according to Player.
