Woman Tries To Grab Cop’s Gun, 3 Arrested For Prowling: Report

Deatrah Reilly and Kyle Beaulier of Manchester, and Justin Haberstroh, formerly of Concord, were arrested after allegedly casing a building.

MANCHESTER, NH — Three people were arrested this morning after one allegedly struggled with a female officer and tried to grab her gun, according to police. Deatrah Reilly, 31, of Manchester, was arrested on March 27, 2018, and charged with attempting to take a firearm from a law enforcement officer, possession of controlled drug-heroin with intent to sell, possession of controlled drug, loitering/prowling, and resisting arrest/detention. Also arrested were Justin Haberstroh, 29, of no fixed address, on a warrant out of Merrimack County Superior Court, possession of a controlled drug – a loaded needled with a substance believed to be heroin – and loitering/prowling as well as Kyle Beaulier, 27, of Manchester, for loitering/prowling and possession of a prescription drug-Gabapentin, Prednisone.

At just before 8:30 a.m. this morning, an officer stopped three subjects that she allegedly found in the rear of a building on Parker Street. One of the three – Reilly – allegedly became combative and wouldn’t keep her hands at midsection while being questioned. Other officers arrived to assist taking Reilly into custody. As they did so, she allegedly fought with the officers and was taken to the ground, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

“She continued to violently struggle while attempting to remove (an officer’s) firearm, which was secured in his holster,” O’Keefe alleged. “A third officer helped place Reilly into custody due to her combative behavior and failure to comply with the officers commands.”

During a pat down, police allegedly found Reilly with 7.5 grams with a substance believed to be crystal meth and 0.5 grams of heroin between two metal containers inside of her pants.

Haberstroh was found to have an active warrant and was arrested. However, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded needle, so that charge was added to his docket.

Beaulier was also charged and allegedly found to be in possession of prescription drugs – 45 Gabapentin and 154 Predisone pills – inside his pockets.

The owner of the property reportedly told police that he didn’t know any of the individuals and had requested they leave but they refused.

Haberstroh has been repeatedly arrested around New Hampshire during the past few years, according to reports on Patch, for drug dealing, drug possession, possession of prescription drugs, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, violation of probation and parole, bail jumping, and warrants.

Beaulier, according to reports on Patch, has been arrested by Rockingham County Sheriffs for burglary in November 2013. He was indicted for burglary and theft last year in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North. Beaulier was arrested for attempted to commit burglary in July 2017, in Manchester.
