Concord Police Log: Placement of a Picture Leads to Assault Charges
Plus, man arrested for stealing Halloween items; Franklin man allegedly puts Sears ratchet in his boot; Tilton woman arrested for heroin.

Craig S. Laber, 52, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. on April 1, 2015, on a bench warrant. Laber was arrested. on the railroad tracks after police were called to Ferry Street for a report of an intoxicated subject at the scene. A check revealed the Laber was wanted for nonappearance in court, $1,000 cash bail. Laber refused bail and was arraigned the next day.
Trinity B. Mansfield, 21, of North Spring Street in Concord, received a summons at 7:37 a.m. on March 31, for driving after revocation or suspension after crossing the double yellow line on North Main Street to get a parking space. She’s due in court on May 4.
Isuf Hajdari, 26, of Loudon Road in Concord, received a summons at 1:30 a.m. on March 30, for operating without a valid license and speeding after being stopped for reportedly doing 56 in a 30 zone near Gully Hill on Loudon Road. He’s due in court on April 20.

Chandra B. Gazmere, 26, of Canton Circle in Concord, was arrested at 11 p.m. on March 29, for simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to the address for a female caller requesting help but there was a language barrier and the problem was unknown. The officers arrived at the scene and spoke to a woman who alleged that she and her husband had been arguing about “the placement of a picture” when the husband, Gazmere, allegedly slapped her in the face. “(She) went on to explain that Gazmere hit her several times in the head,” the officer alleged. “(She) was crying and the left side of (her) face was slightly red and appeared slightly swollen.” They went to speak with Gazmere who was seated in a kitchen chair with a bleeding leg. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called to check him and later, medically cleared him. Gazmere told officers that his wife “had thrown a glass at him and cut his leg,” according to the report. He reportedly told officers that he was reading and they started arguing about a picture. A witness, who was also a relative, alleged that the wife “had spoken to Gazmere in a disrespectful tone.” The officer wrote, “According to the relative, this lack of respect was the reason Gazmere hit (her).” He was arrested and is due in court on May 4.
Jeffrey Grenier, 22, of Concord Street in Manchester, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on March 28, on theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and theft by deception connected to an incident at the Spirit of Halloween store at the Steeplegate Mall on Oct. 30, 2014. He’s due in court on May 4.

Jennifer L. Bourgelais, 42, of Briar Hill Road of Hopkinton, received a summons at 1:52 p.m. on March 29, for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop for license expiration on Loudon Road. Her license expired in December 2014. She’s due in court on May 4.
Sande Lamanuzzi, 48, of White Rock Circle in Tilton, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. on March 9, for felony possession of controlled drugs (heroin) at Concord Hospital on Jan. 9, 2015.
Michael Adams, 22, of Myrtle Street in Manchester, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. on March 7, for driving while intoxicated, possession of controlled drugs, and possession of drugs. An officer noticed a Ford Focus on Noyes Street with its high beams on and driving erratically including crossing over the double yellow line, swerving, and weaving. The car was pulled over on Monroe Street. When asked for his license, the driver, Adams, allegedly had a difficult time getting it out of his pocket. The officer also reportedly saw a can of beer in the glove box when it was opened. He agreed to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested. An inventory of the vehicle allegedly yielded “drug items” in the car. During processing, Adams was allegedly “standoffish, rude, and passive aggressive,” the officer alleging that he had to “yell his name five times before he would wake up.”
Roy J. Aikens, 51, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 12:30 p.m. on March 6, for generic city ordinance violation. Officers were sent to the Open Hands Resource Center for a report of subjects behind the building possibly doing drugs. They arrived and found Aikens and others, allegedly with open containers of Natty Datty Beer. When asked what he was doing, Aikens reportedly stated they were just sitting there “waiting to go out and start asking for money.” When asked why they were drinking in public, he reportedly told the officers that he thought it was OK to drink so long as they were on private property. He was later charged for having an open container.
Maurice W. St. Jacques, 24, of Franklin Street in Franklin, was arrested at 6:19 p.m. on March 5, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Officers were sent to Sears at the Steeplegate Mall for a report of two men concealing merchandise in the tool department. The loss prevention employee alleged that St. Jacques place a ratchet inside his boot. The second man had left by the time the officers arrived. They later caught up with both men inside the mall and allegedly found the ratchet in St. Jacques’ boot. He was then arrested.
Hector L. Rodriguez, 20 of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 3:27 p.m. on March 3, on two theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges from Dunkin’ Donuts on Fisherville Road on Sept. 27, and Sept. 30, 2014. Police were called to an apartment on Fisherville for a domestic between a mother and daughter. While settling the situation, Rodriguez entered the apartment to help the daughter pack up her belongings to leave. A check yielded a warrant and he was arrested.
Tina Ano, 35, of Brodeur Street in Concord, was arrested 8:17 p.m. on March 2, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from the Dollar General on Fisherville Road on Dec. 31, 2014. She was arrested by Boscawen Police.
