According to a court affidavit, a Pittsfield Police officer was on patrol on Carroll Street at just before 11 p.m. when he reportedly saw a vehicle fail to use a turn signal onto Main Street. The vehicle, which had three occupants, a woman driving and two male passengers, was pulled over on Water Street.

“I approached the passenger side of the vehicle and discovered the male sitting in the backseat to have his left hand in a fist like fashion,” according to the affidavit. “I shined my flashlight on his left hand that was clinched up in a fist and discovered what appeared to be a small plastic baggie.”
The man reportedly placed the baggie under his left leg. When asked what was in his hand, the man reportedly stated, “Nothing.” The man – later identified as Corey – was asked to step out of the vehicle and the officer alleged the small baggie was on the seat. The officer requested a consent search of the vehicle and the driver agreed, according to the affidavit. The officer allegedly found a digital scale and a red bag with the initials “MK” on it. Inside the bag, the officer allegedly found unused needles, 18 baggies, two spoons, a rubber band, and a straw. Out of the 18 baggies, two had yellow substance inside and four other baggies had white powder inside, the affidavit alleged.
“Corey saw what I had discovered and admitted to me that the bag was his and that the two baggies with the yellow substance was heroin and the white powdery substance was meth,” the officer alleged. “Corey stated that the last time he used was on Friday (May 6) and was trying to get help but keeps using.”
The drugs reportedly field tested positive for heroin and meth, according to the report.
A check yielded an active warrant out of Bow and also a felony drug arrest by the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Department in February, according to the affidavit.
Corey was arrested and held on $800 cash bail.
According to online reports, Corey, who is formerly of Concord, has been arrested a number of times on warrants, driving charges, possession of heroin, resisting, criminal threatening, and criminal mischief.
