An older woman stepped between the men and then, Tembasi allegedly ran into another room and smashed a lamp, “because he was angry,” the report alleged. Tembasi returned from the room and then allegedly shoved the other man.

The officer asked the victim to show how Tembasi reportedly shoved him and he did, and added that they were wrestling but didn’t recall specific details of the assault.

The woman confirmed the other man’s account that Tembasi allegedly smashed the lamp and showed the officer the damage in the other room, according to the report.

When speaking with the officers, Tembasi allegedly admitted to the assault and vandalism but “was not very forthcoming” and only offered single word answers. He reportedly admitted to kicking the lamp because he was “mad,” the officer stated, and he was arrested and held without bail.

Tembasi has also been arrested for simple assault, violation of privacy, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest or detention, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, loitering, operating without a valid license, criminal threatening, bench warrants, and multiple counts default or breach of bail conditions.
