Concord Police Log: 60 mph on Loudon Road Leads to DWI Charges
Plus, elderly woman arrested on driving charges, dragging hubcap noise leads to marijuana arrest, intoxicated wife allegedly punches hubby.

Abdllah Al Sabagh, 32, of Branch Turnpike in Concord, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2015, and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. An officer on North Main Street near Storrs reportedly observed a Lincoln Continental turn onto Loudon Road without using its turn signal. It reportedly accelerated to around 60 mph while driving under the I-93 bridge and was drifting in and out of lanes. The officer pulled behind the vehicle and it slowed down and later, swerved right and struck the curb. The vehicle was pulled over and a state trooper also stopped at the scene, according to the report. Al Sabagh reportedly smelled like alcohol and allegedly stated he had not consumed much that evening. “Al-Sabagh stated I could, ‘check him’ if I wanted to,” the officer alleged. After field sobriety tests, he was arrested.

Cory J. Salvas, 27, of Pierce Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:46 a.m. on Oct. 19, for a bench warrant, driving after revocation or suspension, uninspected vehicle after a traffic stop at Storrs and Pleasant Street Extension for a plate light being out on his Kia Optima. The vehicle also had an expired inspection sticker. A check on Salvas yielded a suspended license on April 28, 2015, and a bench warrant for nonappearance in court, $500 cash bail, so he was arrested.

Michael Guglielmo, 52, of Bean Hill Road in Belmont, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 9, for sexual assault – forcible fondling, simple assault, criminal threatening, and two counts of disorderly conduct from Oct. 5, 2015, at O Steak and Seafood on South Main Street. The victims in the case were a 16-year-old girl and a man in his 30s. Guglielmo was held on $10,000 cash bail and had an arraignment on Oct. 13.
Victoria G. Grabowski, 21, of Battle Street in Webster, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 3, for driving after revocation or suspension, possession of controlled drugs, and possession of drugs. An officer was checking the top level of the Durgin Block Parking Garage and came across a Nissan Sentra with its motor running and lights off. The officer shined a light into the car and found a woman in the driver’s seat “immediately duck down as if hiding something.” The driver then put the vehicle in reverse and began to back out as the officer approached. Grabowski reportedly put the vehicle in park and said she was fine. The officer alleged that there was “a strong odor of perfume coming from within the vehicle.” Another officer arrived while the first officer found out that Grabowski had a suspended license and was arrested. Grabowski reportedly questioned the officer about the booking process and whether or not she would need her ID or bail money. She then reportedly asked if she could grab her purse and the officer said that would be find. “As Victoria looked through her purse, she paused and quickly put it down on the driver’s seat,” the officer alleged. “Victoria stated that she would just call her friend for bail money. I asked Victoria if she wanted to bring her purse with her and she stated no.” After some back and forth about why she didn’t want to bring her purse, Grabowski allegedly admitted that there was marijuana in her purse. When asked if there was anything else he needed to know, she allegedly admitted that there was a pipe under the driver’s seat. Grabowski is due in court on Nov. 9.

Ellen Druan, 84, of Antrim, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 29, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and operating without a valid license after a traffic stop on Loudon Road for difficulty staying in lanes. The driver, Druan, reportedly told the officer she was having difficulty breathing but refused medical treatment and just wanted some coffee. She handed over a registration but said her license was expired. However, a check yielded a suspended license out of Westborough, MA, from July 2011, for medical threat and a prior operating after suspension conviction in Henniker District Court in March 2010, so she was arrested.
Alexander J. Weaver, 19, of Davis Road in Weare, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. on Sept. 27, for possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs. An officer on North Main Street saw a Honda Accord weaving in and out of traffic and nearly causing a collision. The vehicle also appeared to be dragging an exhaust system. The car was pulled over on I-393 East near Commercial Street. “As soon as the operator rolled down his window, I could immediately smell an odor of burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle,” the officer alleged. The officer explained to the driver, Weaver, why he was pulled over, and Weaver reportedly stated that he had been trying to fix the dragging hubcap that was making the noise. He was reportedly heading to Laconia to drop off his friends who were passengers in the car. Weaver was asked to step out of the car so the officer could talk about the marijuana smell. Weaver allegedly blamed it on a passenger who had been smoking earlier but was reportedly avoiding eye contact with the officer and denied that there was marijuana in the car. Later, however, after letting out a sigh, according to the report, he allegedly handed the officer a metal grinder with a small amount of marijuana and a pipe with residue and was arrested.
Lisa J. Thibault, 54, of Tirrell Hill Road in Goffstown, was arrested at 12:51 a.m. on Sept. 26, on simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault charges. Officers were sent to Clinton Street for a caller reporting that a man was dragging a woman out of a car and the woman was yelling at the man. En route, the officer heard from the male party who stated that he had picked up his intoxicated wife and she punched him in the face. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were in the area to check on the victim. The man had blood on his hands and face as well as scratches on his cheeks and nose. He was evaluated but refused treatment. The man stated that he went to pick up Thibault in Hooksett and while driving home, she reportedly wouldn’t calm down. She reportedly grew angry and started arguing. He tried to calm Thibault down and offered to drive her to Goffstown but she reportedly refused. As he pulled into Clinton Street by his apartment, he suggested that she get out of the car but she reportedly refused. They began to argue and Thibault allegedly struck him in the face, according to the report. He then went over to the other side of the car and attempted to pull her out of the car and she reportedly kept holding onto the door. He pulled the door and she fell out of the car. Thibault allegedly continued to yell as he tried to help her off the ground, he alleged. He attempted to get into his apartment and away from her but she reportedly pulled at his apartment door, so he called 911. A second officer made contact with Thibault while she allegedly was “walking around the complex pushing buzzers to try and get into the other buildings,” the officer alleged. She reportedly smelled like alcohol and stated that the man threw her out of the “f------ car.” Thibault was allegedly unsteady on her feet and “remained uncooperative and belligerent” while the officer tried to get her side of the story. She was later arrested.
Nicholas Wilkins, 22, of Charles Street in Concord, was arrested at 1 p.m. on Sept. 25, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge, based on two prior convictions, from Walmart on Loudon Road involving a $29.97 sweatshirt. He was on probation after being convicted of receiving stolen property and burglary on Feb. 18, 2015, in Merrimack County Superior Court, according to the report.
Dennis R. Magnin, 65, of Airport Road in Concord, was arrested at 4:58 a.m. on Sept. 24, on a bench warrant out of Franklin District Court on Aug. 25, 2015, for nonappearance in court on a felony drug charge, $2,000 cash bail. He was arrested and home and held.
Alcides B. Natal, 50, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:22 p.m. on Sept. 21, for felony charge of registration information; duty to inform from June 30, 2015. He was arrested during a patrol of a homeless camp in Healey Park between Exits 13 and 14.
Michael S. Ridgeway, 45, of South Spring Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:42 p.m. on Sept. 20, for felony habitual offender. Police were called to the Regal Cinemas on Loudon Road for the report of a theft. Two subjects reportedly took off westbound in a silver SUV. At the off-ramp of Exit 14 at Loudon Road, the officer reported saw a silver Ford Edge with two men inside and a similar license plate to the one that was fleeing the scene of the theft, according to the report. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Ridgeway, reportedly stated that he didn’t have a license. The officer asked about what they had done previously during the evening and Ridgeway reportedly stated they were at Dollar General and then the Circle K. Both men reportedly denied being at any other store. Ridgeway’s licensed was revoked in October 2011 for being a habitual offender and he was also out on parole for about three months after a burglary conviction. Ridgeway was then arrested.
