Manchester Woman Arrested on Assault Charge: Log
Concord Police: Tilton man, right out of prison, steals makeup from Walmart and alleged heroin run leads to habitual offender charge.

CONCORD, NH - Emily A. Santos, 20, pictured, of Auburn Street in Manchester, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. on April 28, 2016, from an alleged incident on South Street on March 6, 2016. She turned herself in on a warrant and had a court date on June 6.

Joyce Jasper, 51, of Village Street in Penacook, was arrested at 3:09 p.m. on April 13, 2016, for abandoning a vehicle and two bench warrants out of Concord District Court for DWI and driving after revocation or suspension from July 2015. She had a court date on May 23.

Kaedance D. Ringwald, 19, of Lyndon Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:57 a.m. on April 12, for unlawful possession of alcohol and possession of controlled drugs-marijuana. An officer on Fayette Street reportedly saw a young woman walking with a cup and stopped to speak with her. The woman – Ringwald – reportedly stated that she was walking home from a friend’s house. While speaking with her, the officer noted that she smelled like alcohol and after a bit of back and forth, she was arrested. Inside her purse, police allegedly found marijuana and a glass smoking pipe, according to the report. She had a court date on May 23.

Breanna Fields, 21, of Jackson Avenue in Allenstown, was arrested at 2:09 a.m. on April 11, 2016, for felony habitual offender after police were sent to the area of Fairbanks Drive and Palm Street for a report of suspicious activity. “The reporting party explained to dispatch that a vehicle in the area keeps picking up and dropping off a male subject in the area, and the male subject is seen running up and down the hill,” according to the report. When the officer arrived, the driver of the vehicle – a Buick – reportedly took off. An officer caught up with Fields later walking in the area but her answers “did not make sense,” the officer alleged. “As the investigation continued, I finally got Ms. Fields to allude to having a heroin addiction and that they had been in the area to attempt to purchase some heroin,” the officer alleged, but she reportedly refused to reveal the home that her friend was going into to try and score drugs. Since Fields was a habitual offender, she was arrested. She had a court date on May 16.
DJ Alex Clough-Morgan, 21, of Union Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. on April 11, 2016, for conduct after an accident and possession of controlled drugs from an alleged incident on Washington Street on March 12, 2016. An officer stopped to speak to two men walking near the Eagles parking lot on South State Street after a report of a man fleeing the area. A check of the men revealed that Clough-Morgan had an active warrant and he was arrested. He had a court date on May 16.
Joseph Hammond, 32, of Canton Circle in Concord, was arrested at 9:01 a.m. on April 10, 2016, for driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated-second offense, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, felony possession of controlled drugs-meth, possession of controlled drugs-marijuana, and possession of drugs. Police were sent to Songbird Drive for a report of a suspicious vehicle – a Jeep, parked sideways, up against a mailbox, with a man inside “acting strangely and he appeared to be smoking a pipe,” according to a report. Hammond was questioned about what he was doing and why he was parked in such an odd location and manner. “Hammond did not have a valid reason of any kind,” the officer alleged. “I then asked him what he was smoking prior to my arrival. Hammond denied smoking any pipe in the vehicle.” After a field sobriety test, Hammond was arrested. During processing, Hammond allegedly told the officer he was “messed up” because someone had given him “ruffies” but he declined medical attention. During an inventory search of the Jeep, an officer allegedly found three Alza pills, a pipet that field tested for methamphetamine, a marijuana grinder, a used syringe, a baggie with residue, and a small chunk of an unknown drug substance, according to the report Hammond was convicted of DWI in June 2007 in Concord District Court so a second offense charge was added.
Jonathan R. Cheney, 23, of West Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. on April 10, 2016, on possession of controlled drugs-marijuana and possession of drugs charges after a traffic stop on Pleasant Street for an illegal U-turn. The officer allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the Ford Explorer. “I asked Jonathan again for the vehicle registration,” the officer alleged. “I observed small pieces of green vegetative matter on the floor of the driver's side and the center console area. I recognized the green vegetative matter as marijuana from my training and experience.” After some back and forth about the alleged marijuana smell and a field sobriety test, where he did not show impairment, he was arrested. Cheney had a court date on May 16.
Drew R. Clough, 21, of Cliff Street in Malden, MA, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on April 2, 2016, on possession of controlled drugs-marijuana and possession of drugs charges after a traffic stop on North State Street for a defective headlight. After pulling the vehicle over, the officer allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Clough allegedly admitted that he had a pipe and a baggie in the center console, handed them to the officer, and was arrested. He had a court date on May 9.
James P. Putnam, 29, of Dunlop Drive in Tilton, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. on April 2, 2016, and charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer after allegedly stealing $94 worth of makeup, deodorant, and other products from the Walmart on Loudon Road. Putnam was convicted of receiving stolen property in July 2002 in Franklin District Court and theft in February 2005 in Hillsboro District Court. He reportedly told the officer that he had just gotten out of jail and he was arrested.
