New Hampshire’s Fugitive Of The Week Arrested In Concord

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-NH Joint Fugitive Task Force fugitive of the week was arrested early this week after investigators received a tip from the public that he might be in Concord, according to officials.

Chad Glodgett, 39, was to be featured this week after Tilton police issued a warrant for his arrest connected to a stolen car chase and crash in the Lakes Region on Dec. 2, 2021. The warrant included accusations of narcotics possession, vehicular assault, resisting arrest or detention, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charges. The warrant for his arrest was issued on Dec. 9, 2021. Glodgett was thought to be in the Belmont or Concord areas of the state.

The task force circulated information about Glodgett on Monday. Police departments across the state also received the information.

During the past couple of weeks, work by the task force as well as Tilton and Concord police led to the tip on Tuesday that Glodgett was in the capital city. Concord police checked out the tip and arrested Glodgett without incident, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal.

Glodgett refused bail and was held overnight in the Merrimack County Jail. He is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.

Glodgett has a lengthy criminal history having been arrested during the past 20 years on motor vehicle theft, habitual offender, reckless conduct, drug possession, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, resisting, and other charges, according to superior court records. He was involved in a crash in East Concord back in 2017 after a vehicle was stolen from Chichester that led to chases and accidents.
