Marshals received tips that Lassonde was “currently homeless and residing in a van of a known associate in the Concord area,” White noted.

“Members of the task force saturated the Concord area until finding the van this morning,” White alleged. “After a short period of surveillance, the van was stopped by members of the task force behind a Penacook apartment building and Lassonde was located inside.”

Lassonde allegedly provided a false name but was easily identified by photographs and tattoos. He was arrested without further incident, according to White.

Several members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, including members from the Strafford, Rockingham, Hillsborough and Belknap County Sheriff’s Offices, Federal Protective Service, and the Greenfield and Boscawen Police Departments, all worked the case, White stated.

Lassonde was transported to the Merrimack County Jail by Boscawen Police where he was held without bail.

Lassonde, according to posts on Patch, has a prior criminal history. In 2015, he was arrested for criminal mischief – after allegedly damaging a wall at Concord Hospital. He was also arrested for theft a number of times allegedly stealing jewelry and as well as cash from a Dunkin’ Donuts register. That same year, he was also cited for driving violations. Earlier this year, he was charged twice with simple assault after alleged incidents at Concord Hospital. Lassonde was convicted of burglary in April 2010, and theft in September 2013.
