NH Sex Offender Fugitive Caught in Rindge
Frederick Piercey was arrested by U.S. Marshals Service for failing to register after being convicted of sexual assault, child pornography.

CONCORD, NH — This week’s New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week has been caught, according to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White of the U.S. Marshal Service. Frederick Piercey, 42, was arrested on Jan. 4, 2017, on a sex offender registration violation for failing to register.

After the release of the Fugitive of the Week report this morning, the task force checked “several areas of Rindge” in an effort to find Piercey. After checking some areas of the community, including a family member’s residence on Cider Mill Lane, he was reportedly found and arrested with incident.

Piercey was transported to the Keene Police Department for processing and holding pending his initial court appearance.

Piercey, according to White, is required to register as a sex offender due to a 2001 Hillsborough County Superior Court conviction for sexual assault and child pornography (victim under 16-years-old).
According to the state of New Hampshire, between 2007 and 2012, he was convicted five times for duty to report. He was also convicted of disorderly conduct in 1997, criminal trespassing in 2000, simple assault in 2008, and breach of bail in 2009.
The arrest was made by the cooperative effort of several members of the U.S. Marshals Service, NH Joint Fugitive Task Force, including, the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office, Greenfield, Rindge, and Keene Police Departments, along with deputy U.S. Marshals.
