CONCORD, NH — A teenager from New Hampshire was accused of driving 130 mph on Interstate 93 through multiple communities on Sunday morning.

Around 7 a.m., a trooper in the air saw a motorcyclist riding in the southbound lane at “an extremely high rate of speed” on I-93 in Derry. The motorcyclist, Tyler Dumont, a public information officer for state police, “passing vehicles on the right and weaving in and out of traffic.” By the time the rider entered Windham, they were clocked at more than 100 mph four times — with a top speed of 130 mph, he said.

The rider, Nathan D. Pratte, 19, of Bedford, was stopped by a state trooper on the ground and charged with reckless driving. He is due to appear in Salem District Court on Sept 19.
