Jase C. Whittemore, 30, of Lancaster Hill in Tilton, was arrested on a bench warrant at 5:24 p.m. on July 27, 2016. Whittemore was arrested on Elmwood Avenue.

Raymond J. Paplaskas, 29, of Canal Street in Somersworth, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. on July 27, 2016, for fraudulent use of a credit card from an alleged incident at the Concord Mart on North Main Street. According to a court affidavit, on June 3, an officer was sent to the store for a report of a wallet theft. He spoke to a woman who stated that she was at the Homeless Resource Center earlier in the day, went out to smoke a cigarette, and when she returned, her wallet was missing. The next day, her bank learned that her debit card was used at Cumbies, Dunkin' Donuts inside Cumbies, and Speedway. On June 8, the officer returned to the resource center and learned that Paplaskas might be a suspect after he was allegedly bragging to others that he had stolen the wallet, according to the affidavit. The officer went to Cumberland Farms, eyed their security footage for that day, and matched screenshots to Paplaskas' booking photo from 2014. On June 15, another person returned the wallet to the woman after it was found at the store. Everything but the debit card was in the wallet, the report noted. On July 9, the officer learned that Paplaskas was being held at the Strafford County Department of Corrections and he requested new booking photos. After receiving them, a theft charge warrant was issued against him.
