Winnacunnet, Exeter, Londonderry, Merrimack, Milford, And Portsmouth Post Wins: NH Wrestling Roundup
Bow, Campbell, Pelham, and Timberlane also notch wins; Manchester, Souhegan, Nashua, and Salem also compete at meets.

HAMPTON, NH — Dozens of wrestlers competed in bouts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as the end of New Hampshire’s regular wrestling season is on the horizon.
Here are some of the results.
Winnacunnet Wins Against Bishop Guertin, 48-36
The Warriors held off the Cardinals on Tuesday, largely due to forfeits stemming from an incomplete BG team.

Winnacunnet won six matches by forfeit while BG won one in the 285-pound slot. Austin Steinruck at 132, James Algeo at 138, Dominic Stamp at 150, and Jack Foster at 175, all won by fall for BG. Reid Campbell in the 157 and Liam Peters in the 165 also won for Winnacunnet by pin.
Exeter Beats Keene In A Squeaker
The Blue Hawks contained the Black Hawks on Wednesday, 37-35.

Both teams were assisted by forfeits, with Exeter winning three matches, Keene one, and a double forfeit in the 285-pound bracket. Eli Jones, wrestling in the 126 for Exeter, won 11-8, while Hudson Berry in the 138 pinned his opponent. Ryan Grandmason won the 150 by pin for Exeter. Avery Niemi in the 190 for Exeter won by major decision, 11-1.

Londonderry Wins Against Central, Memorial
Londonderry, Manchester Central, and Manchester Memorial competed in a tri-meet on Wednesday, and the Lancers took two.
In the meet against Central, Londonderry won, 78-6. In the 113, Lucas DeLeon of Londonderry won by pin, as did Gabriel Perez in the 132, Ayden Murray in the 138, and Colin Egan in the 144 for Londonderry. Jack Perrin in the 157, Moqsid Rahmani in the 175, and Blake Buttle in the 215 also won by falls for Londonderry. The Lancers won six bouts by forfeit while Manchester took one.
The Lancers also beat Memorial, 54-27. In the 120, Cam Roussell won by fall, as did Jackson Butcher in the 126, Perez in the 132, and Murray in the 138, all won by pin. Nasr Abbari of Manchester won, 6-2, in the 144. Caleb Holden in the 150, Jack Perrin in the 157, Sawyer Chaffee in the 165, and Rahmani in the 175 all won by fall for Londonderry. Memorial then took the next three: Xavier Moreau in the 190, Yazen Al Janabi in the 215, and Abbari in the 106 won by falls.
Merrimack Beats West, 42-36
The Tomahawks came away with a win in Manchester on Wednesday night.
In the 126, Saddrudin Zahid won by fall, as did Samuel Cruz in the 132 for Manchester. Owen Sayball of Merrimack won in the 138 by fall. In the 150, Colin Taylor of West won by pin. Merrimack took the next three: Nathan Cui in the 165, Nicolin Stevens in the 175, and Carter Anderson in the 190, all winning by pins. Jayden Nartey of West then won by fall in the 215. Both teams had a double forfeit in the 113, while Merrimack won two by forfeit and West took one.
In extra matches, Zuhorudin Zahid of Manchester in the 138 won by pin, Cash Torres of Merrimack in the 157 won a 7-4 decision, and Tristan Sar of Manchester won by fall in the 175.
Milford Downs Souhegan, 36-33
A wrestling dual outcome does not get much closer than 3 points, as seen in the Wednesday event between the Sabers and the Spartans, and a forfeit appeared to make the difference.
In the 106, Kyle Sukcharoenphon won by tech fall, 16-0, for Souhegan. Milford wrestlers won the next three weight classes: Colton Schuster in the 113 by pin, Kiernan Lordan in the 120 by a score of 9-5, and Max Hammerstrom in the 126 by tech fall, 15-0. Souhegan took the next four: Jack Kaler in the 132, 9-6, Landon Carson in the 138 by tech fall, 23-5, Chase Knuckles in the 144 by tech fall, 23-5, and Alex Sarfde in the 150 by fall. Phillip Wright from Milford in the 157 won by pin, while Patrick Casey from Souhegan won, 13-7. Jack Clancy for Milford in the 175 won by a major decision. Brandon Leeman of Milford won the 215 by fall, as did Gabe Holt of Souhegan in the 285 by fall. Milford won one bout by forfeit in the 190.
In extra matches, three Souhegan wrestlers won by fall: Jaiden Watts in the 132, Bradford Parkhurst in the 144, and Brennon Mielke in the 150.
Alvirne Beats Nashua North, 48-36
The Broncos came away with a solid win against the Titans on Wednesday.
Winning wrestlers for Nashua included Sebastian Ochoa in the 126, Caleb Smith in the 138, Tayvon Moore in the 144, Kayden Vallerand-Kenneally in the 150, Jace Gallego in the 157, and Liam Collins in the 175.
The Hudson wrestlers also won two bouts by forfeit.
Clippers Collide With Kingswood Regional
Portsmouth came away with a win against Kingswood, 52-30.
Wrestlers winning for Portsmouth included Justin Maynard in the 126, AJ Craig in the 138, Mikey Shortill in the 150, all by falls. Stephen Whisler in the 165 won by tech fall, 17-1. Evan Cook in the 285 also won by pin. Portsmouth also won five matches by forfeit.
In an extra match, Zack LaValley of Portsmouth won a major decision, 19-7.
Salem Falls To Timbo, 74-4
The Blue Devils got rocked by the Owls on Wednesday.
John Blocksidge of Salem, in the 113, was the only wrestler to win, by major decision, 15-5.
Other Results
Bow bested Winnisquam Regional on Wednesday, 40-31.
Keene lost two matches against Burr & Burton, Vermont, on Tuesday.
Campbell beat Mascoma Valley Regional, 48-30.
Pelham bested Raymond, 42-30.
Mascenic and White Mountains Regional participated in a tri-meet in Newport, but results were not available at the time of publication.
Plymouth, Hillsboro, John Stark, and Hopkinton all met for a meet on Wednesday. Plymouth beat John Stark, 54-28, and Franklin, 66-18.
Kearsarge Regional also held a tri-meet, as did Lebanon, where Campbell beat Lebanon, 57-12, and Macoma Valley Regional, 48-12. Lebanon also beat Mascoma, 36-23.
Raymond beat Pelham, 42-30.
BG hosted a super quad with Alvirne, Bedford, and Winnacunnet on Thursday but no scores were available at publication time.
