Hudson Man Indicted On Attempted Theft By Extortion Charge: Superior Court Roundup

Plus: Nashua sex offenders indicted on duty to report charges; convicted thief indicted on mailbox theft charges; several drug indictments.

NASHUA, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Chane A. Fisher, 48, of no fixed address in Nashua on two felony duty to report charges. He was accused of failing to tell Nashua police of his place of residency on March 2, 2021, as required by his sex offender status. Read more about this case here: Mass. Doran Garland, 42, of Main Street in Sanbornville on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-methamphetamine charge on Jan. 15 in Nashua.

Eric Higgins, 35, of Evergreen Street in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited, amphetamine and buprenorphine, charges, in Nashua on Feb. 16.

Scott Indeglia, 51, of South Street in Townsend, MA, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine charge on Aug. 30, 2022, in Nashua. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted of a felony in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in March 2019.

Kevin J. Karam, 44, of Lock Street in Nashua on a felony duty to inform charge on Nov. 2, 2022, in Nashua and a felony duty to report charge on Dec. 19, 2022, in Nashua. He was accused of failing to register his residency with police as required due to his sex offender status.

Donna Kelly, 48, of no fixed address in Nashua on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited, fentanyl and methamphetamine, charges, on Jan. 2 in Nashua.

Edward Kimungu, 21, of no fixed address in Hudson on a felony attempted theft by extortion charge. Between July 21, and July 23, 2022, in Hudson, he was accused of threatening to shoot another person if he failed to pay him $800.

Derek Lennartson, 52, of Pine Street in Nashua on two theft by unauthorized taking and two controlled drug act; acts prohibited, meth and cocaine, charges, all felonies. He was accused of stealing a Boston Bruins belt and New England Patriots earrings from mailboxes in Nashua on Jan. 10 and Jan. 12 after twice before being convicted on robbery and willful concealment charges in Hillsborough County. The drug charges stem from an incident in Nashua on Feb. 10. Lennartson, according to the indictment, has been previously convicted of acts prohibited in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Anthony Malvarosa, 48, of Avon Drive in Nashua on a felony operating after being certified as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Main Street in Nashua on Feb. 17 after being certified as a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
