John Heitkamp, 70, of 112 Tolles St., was charged with seven counts of aggravated sexual assault.

A Nashua man charged with raping and strangling two children could face a trial.
John Heitkamp, 70, of 112 Tolles St., was arrested on a warrant on Dec. 31 at about 10 p.m. on seven counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of strangulation. He was recently indicted in Hillsborough Superior Court. An indictment means a grand jury has determined a trial is warranted based on evidence in the case.
Police said one of the victims was under 13 years old and the other victim was under 16. They told police Heitkamp raped them between July and October.
