Nine Arrested During Nashua Sobriety Checkpoint

NHSP: Alleged drunk driver, drug arrests, and even a fugitive from the Bay State were arrested last night.

NASHUA, NH — New Hampshire State Troopers and Nashua Police arrested nine individuals during a sobriety checkpoint held on West Hollis Street in Nashua between last night and this morning, according to state police. The checkpoint started at around 9 p.m. on June 30, 2017, and ran through 3 a.m. this morning. A total of 170 vehicles were checked.

The following people were arrested:

  • Michael Stevens, 44, of Nashua, for driving while intoxicated.
  • William Termedon, 20, of Marlborough, MA, for possession of a controlled drug.
  • Ryan Basnett, 21, of Nashua, for operating without a valid license.
  • David Strahan, 35, of Hot Springs, AK, on an electronic bench warrant.
  • Shannon Winslow, 26, of Manchester, on Fugitive from justice charges out of Essex County Massachusetts.
  • Jerod Harris-Appling, 27, of Southbridge, MA, onan electronic bench warrant.
  • Diane Feltrin-Silva-Droique-Pimentel, 26, of Nashua, for operating without a valid license.
  • Zachary Dellagatta, 20, of Nashua, for possession of a controlled drug.
  • Marlon Lizarido Aleman, 30, of Richmond, VA, for operating without a valid license.

The New Hampshire State Police, Colonel Christopher Wagner and the Nashua Police Chief Andrew Lavoie as well as the officers of their departments, consider the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers to be a top priority, the press statement said. They will continue to collaborate and utilize sobriety checkpoints and other means to deter, detect and remove impaired drivers from New Hampshire's roadways.
