Fight Over Shotgun Leads To Indictments: Rockingham County Superior Court

Plus: Newton woman accused of draining town's bank account; CT man indicted on Portsmouth protective violation charge; drug indictments.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Carmelo Baez, 44, of Oxford Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing items from Walmart in Salem on June 11.

Jason Brian Ball, 43, of Kendall Pond Road in Derry on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of cashing a check for $5,800 from a Londonderry woman for work to be performed on her home between May 9 and July 1.

Brian R. Bergeron, 38, of Jones Street in Portsmouth on three felony insurance fraud charges. He was accused of defrauding Progressive on April 18, April 19, and April 26 by filing a false claim after damage to his vehicle and an accident.

Lynn Bergeron, 56, of Bearhill Road in Newton on a felony theft by deception charge. She was accused of closing a town of Newton TD Bank bank account and giving herself the proceeds, more than $16,000, on Feb. 8.

Erin Boutraih, 40, of Eastern Avenue in Manchester on a felony possession of fentanyl and transport drugs in a motor vehicle charges on June 11, 2019, in Londonderry.

Gregory Thomas Brown Jr., 44, of Walton Road in Seabrook on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing items from Lowe’s in Seabrook on Sept. 17 after being convicted twice before on theft charges.

Jon J. Bush Jr., 56, of South Main Street in Newton on reckless conduct-domestic violence, felonious use of a firearm, and domestic violence charges. He was accused of wrestling with an intimate partner over a Remington 870 Tactical shotgun and pointing the firearm at them on Aug. 10 in Newton.

David Allen Cossey, 49, with a last known address of Dwight Street in New Britain, Connecticut, on a violation of a protective order charge on Sept. 13 in Portsmouth. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted of a violation of a protective order in February in New Britain CT Superior Court in Connecticut.

Jonathan Cote, 25, of Mystic Street in Manchester on a felony receiving stolen property-firearm charge. He was accused of retaining a CZ600 LUX model .223 rifle on July 13 in Derry.

Michael E. Currier, 42, of Litchfield Road in Londonderry on a possession of cocaine charge on April 10 in Londonderry.
