3 Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Report At 7-11: Salem Police Log

Boscawen felon arrested at the mall on weapon charge; Pembroke man faces drug, child endangerment charges; and crashes reported around town.

SALEM, NH — At 5:33 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2019, police took a report about a road rage incident from a woman who stated that it started on North Broadway and led to her home with a man exchanging words with her and her daughters.

At 2:29 p.m. on Nov. 19, police took a report about a credit card stolen from Work Out Club on Pelham Road.

A call about a woman disrobing on Northeastern Boulevard at 12:43 p.m. on Nov. 19 turned out to be a woman taking off her sweatshirt and walking home.

A man reported at 10:44 a.m. on Nov. 19 a criminally threatening early morning phone call he received around 3 a.m.

At 1:43 a.m. on Nov. 12, officers were sent to the 7-Eleven on Main Street for a report of a stolen vehicle out of Henniker. Henniker police confirmed that the vehicle was stolen and three people were charged. Raleigh Joseph Giunta, 27, of Tremont Street in Concord, was arrested on a felony receiving stolen property charge. Theresa Lavoie, 39, of Main Street in Henniker, was arrested on receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, both felonies, and false report to law enforcement charges. Also arrested was Heather L. Start, 36, of Susan Drive in Moultonborough, on receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, both felonies, and false report to law enforcement charges.

A call for suspicious activity at the Mall at Rockingham Park at 7:26 p.m. on Nov. 11 led to the arrest of Joshua A. Riley, 41, of Pembroke Street in Pembroke, on possession of controlled drug, possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, and endangering the welfare of a child. Mall security accused Riley of "stumbling around the food court with a small child."

Jonathan Guy Leclerc, 40, of Cross Street in Salem, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a restraining order at 7:23 p.m. on Nov. 11.

Police took a report at 5:10 p.m. on Nov. 11 from a Twinbrook Avenue resident who reported receiving a FaceTime message from a person claiming to be a sergeant with the Methuen Police Department.

A minor two-vehicle crash was reported on Veterans Memorial Parkway at 5:06 p.m. on Nov. 11.

At 1:55 p.m. on Nov. 11, a generator fire was reported at the Speedway on North Broadway.

At 6:15 a.m. on Nov. 11, a Jamil Lane resident reported a gun shot near the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. It turned out to be a hunter in the area.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on South Broadway at 8:02 p.m. on Nov. 10.

A crash was reported at 5:08 p.m. on Nov. 10 on South Broadway.

Mall security called police to deal with a man "carrying a large knife" at 4:50 p.m. on Nov. 10. Jesse John DeFlorio, 27, of Honey Drive in Boscawen, was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, a felony.

At 4:46 p.m. on Nov. 10, a crash was reported on North Broadway.

Thomas Neal Olson, 43, of Pumping Station Road in Salem, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. on Nov. 10 and charged with robbery. He was arrested after police were sent to the mall after Macy's requested assistance with "an uncooperative shoplifter."

Anthony A. Cooke, 57, of Cleaves Street in Roxbury, Massachusetts, was arrested on two theft by deception charges at 11:25 on Nov. 10. He was arrested by Lincoln police on a warrant.

Joel P. Barbosa, 34, of Cluff Crossing Road in Salem, was arrested on a felony willful concealment charge due to two prior convictions after police were sent to the Rite Aid on Main Street at 9:22 a.m. on Nov. 10 for a report of a shoplifter in the store.
