Man From Northwood Indicted On Child Sexual Assault Charges: Rockingham County Superior Court Roundup

Portsmouth man indicted on knife threat charges; Seabrook man indicted on strangulation charges; Dover felon accused of possessing a gun.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A grand jury in Rockingham County recently indicted the individuals listed below.

Naven W. Case, 22, of Beechstone in Portsmouth, on criminal mischief, falsifying physical evidence, and two criminal threatening with a deadly weapon charges, all felonies. He was accused of saying “I’m gonna gut you like a pig” or words to that effect while brandishing a knife at two people and causing more than $1,500 in damage to a Cadillac Escalade in Portsmouth on Aug. 3, 2025. Case was also accused of concealing a cellphone to impair an investigation on Sept. 15, 2025, in Portsmouth.

Michael Castelan, 27, of Folly Mill Terrace in Seabrook, on two felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charges as well as simple assault. He was accused of strangling and striking an intimate partner in the face in Seabrook on Sept. 19, 2025.

Laura Louise Clark, 41, of Horace Harding Boulevard in Corona, New York, on a felony forgery charge. She acted in concert with and-or aided by Manny Colon in uttering a counterfeit $50 bill in Newington on Aug. 24, 2025, according to an indictment.

Travis Benjamin Cross, 43, homeless in New Hampshire, on receiving stolen property and theft of lost or mislaid property charges, both felonies, and breach of bail conditions and resisting arrest or detention charges. He was accused of possessing a black sling bag that belonged to another person on Aug. 5, 2025, in Portsmouth. The felony charges are felonies due to Cross being convicted twice before on other theft charges. At the time of the incidents, Cross was out on bail from Portsmouth District Court on July 29, 2025.

William Cruz, 34, of Camella Teoli Way in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on a felony robbery and simple assault charges. He was accused of using force to steal merchandise from Target in Salem on Dec. 11, 2025.

David McLeod, 42, of Waverly Drive in Dover, on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled drug-subsequent-fentanyl charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing the drug and a Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol on Aug. 24, 2025, in Exeter. McLeod is a felon due to a burglary conviction in Strafford County Superior Court in August 2011, according to the indictment.

Joseph Nelson, 38, of Goboro Road in Epsom, on habitual offender and two receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. He was accused of receiving on Oct. 30, 2025, various power tools stolen from Home Depot and a Bluetooth speaker and earbuds stolen from Walmart both in Seabrook. Twice before, according to the indictment, he has been convicted on receiving stolen property charges. Nelson also drove on Lafayette Road in Seabook after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV, according to the indictment.

Troy Osgood, 50, of Youngs Crossing in Northwood, on felonious sexual assault and two aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence charges, all felonies. He was accused of sexually assaulting and fondling a girl between June 1 and Sept. 26, 2024, in Northwood.

Thiago Pereira Da Silva, 44, of Harvard Street in Fitchburg, MA, on felony theft by deception and theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charges. He was accused of placing lower price tags on merchandise, toy cars, at Walmart on Salem, to resell on June 15, 2024.

Ellen Perkins, 47, of Main Street in Sandwich, on felony theft by unauthorized taking, theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000, unsworn falsification, and false report to law enforcement charges. She was accused of stealing more than $1,500 in jewelry from Parker French Antiques in Northwood on May 19, 2024. On May 26, she made a written statement, with the intent to deceive, and knowingly gave false information to police, according to indictments. On June 30, she was accused of exercising control over $40 that belonged to Parker French Antiques.
