Peek Inside Jersey City's New Waterfront Cafe Maman, Beloved By Oprah: PHOTOS

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Before New York City's Maman Cafe and Bakery officially opens its store on the Jersey City waterfront for Valentine's Day, they've planned another weekend popup with special one-time Valentine's goods and beverages. And Patch took a look to see what you can expect.

The bakery and cafe provides plenty of space to stop and eat on the Jersey City waterfront, just south of the Exchange Place area. It's right by a ferry slip and easily accessible from the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, PATH, or waterfront walkway.

Oprah Winfrey once praised the restaurant group's cookies among her favorite things.

You can enjoy their regular fare after they open Monday.

The Provencal-inspired café at 70 Hudson St. will soon serve up salads, sandwiches, and baked goods indoors or outside.

On opening day, Monday, Feb. 14, Maman Jersey City will host a “Pay As You Please” day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Welcome Baby, an organization that provides low-income mothers with everything she and her newborn need.

Meanwhile, here's the information about the remaining pre-opening popup:

• You’re Berry Sweet Strawberry Vanilla Cruffin: homemade strawberry jam & vanilla frosting nestled in crunchy brioche, topped with a heart - $5.50
• Je T’aime Cookie Sandwich: passion fruit ganache, white chocolate & toasted coconut - $5.50
• Cookie Bouquet: a bouquet of 8 maman cookies {it’s way more delicious than a bouquet of roses} includes gift packaging - $48

• Cherry on Top: homemade dark chocolate cherry ganache, fresh whipped cream, brownie crumbs, morello cherry sauce, and topped with a homemade chocolate covered cherry candy - $8.5
• Blue Velvet: a white chocolate ganache with butterfly pea flower tea, chamomile infused whipped cream, blue velvet cake crumbles and an edible butterfly sleeping on top - $8.5
• Be My Clementine: winter citrus dark chocolate ganache, creamsicle whipped cream, flourless clementine cake crumbs, topped with a clementine chocolate heart - $8.5
