Breaking: The next high tide will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday. Monmouth Beach and Sea Bright already experienced flooding Monday morning.

Coastal flooding is predicted to occur with Monday's nor'easter, and Monmouth Beach and Sea Bright already reported flooding Monday morning. That's a photo of flooding in Monmouth Beach already today, taken by Marielle Larkin.
Monmouth County is bracing for the next high tide, which will be at 4:30 Monday afternoon. Police in waterfront towns, such as Aberdeen, are warning drivers to avoid flooded roadways and move away from beaches. Trees have already been knocked down by high winds in Middletown Township; Red Hill Road at Kings Highway is impassable due to a large tree downed by winds. High winds blew the roof off a condo complex in Long Branch and at least 6,000 are currently without power in Ocean County.
The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood warning from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. for all of coastal New Jersey, from the Raritan Bay all the way down to Cape May. This includes Monmouth and Ocean counties.
