MOORESTOWN, NJ — As of Monday night, there are 420 positive cases of the coronavirus in Moorestown, according to numbers provided by Burlington County officials.
This number included two new cases that were identified on Monday. Trace investigations are underway. No new deaths were reported anywhere in Burlington County on Monday, and the total number of confirmed deaths in Moorestown as of Monday was 63.
Countywide, there were 12 new cases reported, bringing the total number of cases in Burlington County to 6,610 with 459 confirmed deaths and 48 probable deaths.

The focus is on close contacts, defined as closer than 6 feet for more than 10 minutes, household contacts and those that work in high risk settings such as healthcare workers and long term care facilities. Burlington County is actively engaged in contact tracing positive coronavirus cases. The focus is on close contacts, defined as closer than 6 feet for more than 10 minutes, household contacts and those that work in high risk settings such as healthcare workers and long term care facilities.
If community exposure has occurred, where a coronavirus positive person was in close contact with people for an extended period of time, while symptomatic, county officials will notify the public. Since residents are abiding by the social distancing requirements, officials said they have not run into that issue since early in the pandemic.
