Moorestown Man, 82, Dies Due To Coronavirus
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 704 Moorestown residents have tested positive and 65 have died.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — An 82-year-old Moorestown man has died after testing positive for the coronavirus, Burlington County officials announced Friday night.
There were also 10 new cases of the coronavirus reported in Moorestown on Friday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 704 Moorestown residents have tested positive and 65 have died.
Countywide, 15,399 residents have tested positive, and there have been 522 confirmed deaths and 57 probable deaths. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.

Burlington County is actively engaged in contact tracing positive coronavirus cases. The focus is on close contacts, defined as closer than 6 feet for more than 10 minutes, household contacts and those that work in high risk settings such as healthcare workers and long term care facilities. Burlington County is actively engaged in contact tracing positive coronavirus cases. The focus is on close contacts, defined as closer than 6 feet for more than 10 minutes, household contacts and those that work in high risk settings such as healthcare workers and long term care facilities.
If community exposure has occurred, where a coronavirus positive person was in close contact with people for an extended period of time, while symptomatic, county officials will notify the public.
