Paramus Police Take Down 18-Year-Old After 3-Highway Car Chase
The driver, Andre Felix, 18, spun out of control on Route 80, tried to escape and hit a police car, authorities said.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Two Paterson men led police on a chase on three North Jersey highways that ended with their car spinning out on Route 80 and them ramming a police car.
It was one of two car chases Paramus police were involved in Wednesday. A man crashed through a locked gate and fence and hit several vehicles at a car dealership while police chased him on Route 17 Wednesday afternoon.
Officer Donald Liu tried stopping a 2000 Audi A4 on Route 17 South because the vehicle had a defective brake light, said Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.
