Locals gathered in lawn chairs to watch filming, as the production used real neighborhood homes, schools, prisons, and parks across 22 New Jersey communities to ground the story.
   

• New Providence Fire Department Responds to Downtown Commercial Structure Fire (tapinto.net) — Scotch Plains firefighters were among several Union County departments called to help contain a downtown commercial building fire in New Providence on Tuesday morning. Crews quickly knocked down the blaze in a first-floor business, no injuries were reported, and investigators currently believe the cause was accidental.
