Bergen County Humane Enforcement Agent, John Rivera from BC Protect & Rescue poses with a customer at PetValu, who just donated needed supplies to the animal shelter. BC Protect & Rescue is holding adoption days at PetValu in the Market Place Shopping Center on River Road in Edgewater, NJ every other Saturday from 11a – 5p. Donations of monetary funds, food and other supplies are greatly needed for the animals as well as office supplies. BC Protect & Rescue located at 302 2nd St., corner of Walker St., Cliffside Park, is a volunteer, non-profit animal rescue shelter and is also seeking highly dedicated volunteers for fundraising, public relations, adoption days, cage cleaning, dog walking, cat socialization, dog/cat fostering and computer work. The shelter is opened Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 11a – 4p, Wednesday from 11a – 7p, Saturday – Sunday from 12n – 4p and Monday closed. Please help save a life; donate and/or volunteer.
