BCUA Holds Hazardous Waste Collection Sept. 6

The Bergen County Utilities Authority is hosting its sixth hazardous waste collection event today, Sept. 6 at Bergen County Campgaw Mountain Reservation, located at 200 Campgaw Road in Mahwah from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bergen County residents and business owners will be able to dispose of unwanted materials such as aerosol cans, antifreeze, vehicle and/or rechargeable batteries, disinfectants, fertilizer, fire extinguishers, fluorescent lights, gasoline, paint, solvents, used motor oil and filters and varnishes.

ID’s will be required to show proof of Bergen County residency.
