Bergen County Man Arrested, Charged After Police Find 195 Firearms in Home
Of the 195 seized firearms, 5 were assault firearms and 3 of those were submachine guns.

A Grand Jury in Hackensack handed a ten count indictment against Robert J. Lintner, of Saddle Brook, in connection with weapons seized from his home between Aug. 8 and Aug. 9, 2014.
Saddle Brook police responded to a call on Aug. 8 at the home of Lintner and upon searching the home, police found firearms, ammunition, ammunition magazines and gunpowder. Among the 195 firearms seized, five were later determined to be assault firearms, which are prohibited under New Jersey law. Of those five assault firearms, three were further identified as submachine guns.
Police also seized 65 illegal, high capacity, ammunition magazines. Bomb technicians from the Bergen County Police Department later seized and secured a combination of over 300 pounds of black gun powder and smokeless gun powder from the home - a total amount far exceeding the legal limits permitted by statute for residential storage. The legal limits for residential storage of gun powder are 50 pounds for black gun powder and 100 pounds for smokeless gun powder.
