Bergen County Residents Arrested on Drug Charges
The three individuals allegedly possessed suspected raw heroin and heroin paraphernalia at the time of their arrest.
Three Bergen County residents were arrested earlier this week on drug distribution charges.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force, the Englewood Police Department and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation after detectives observed one of the suspects “engaging in a hand-to-hand drug transaction and other narcotic related activities,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
Undercover detectives then arranged to purchase twenty bricks of suspected heroin in Englewood from the suspect, Jamal Robinson, 38, of Hackensack, on Dec. 10. The investigation revealed that Robinson had been engaged in heroin distribution activities, Molinelli said.

Damar Palmer, 27, and Jasmine Jemmott, 29, both of Englewood, were also arrested with Robinson after all three allegedly possessed suspected raw heroin and heroin paraphernalia in Robinson’s vehicle. The estimated street value of the controlled dangerous substances seized is approximately $3,400.
Robinson was charged with one count of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, specifically heroin, in a quantity greater than one-half ounce, a second degree crime. Bail for Robinson was set at $75,000 with no ten percent option. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office anticipates additional criminal charges as this investigation remains an active one, Molinelli said.
