Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage In Pascack Valley Hosts Document Shredding And Food/Supply Drive For “Cares Days”

HILLSDALE, N.J. – (June 10, 2014) – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Pascack Valley Regional Sales Office in Hillsdale held a document shredding day and food and supply drive to support Helping Hand Food Pantry in Hillsdale during Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days. During Cares Days, sales associates affiliated with all of the real estate company’s 55 offices gave back through projects such as food drives, park clean-ups, and fundraisers.

Sales associates affiliated with the Pascack Valley real estate office brought in a shredding truck to safely dispose of documents for the community. They also collected and donated non-perishable food, cleaning and paper products such as tissues and paper towels at their 50 Broadway office. The Helping Hand Food Pantry is a cooperative ministry of the Hillsdale Christian churches and supported by volunteers of the community who provide food for those in need.

“Thank you to everyone in the community who participated in Cares Days by either donating money or food,” said Ed White, branch vice president of the Pascack Valley Regional Sales Office. “The sales associates and employees worked together to ensure that this day was a success. We are proud to support the Helping Hand Food Pantry and our community.”

During the second annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days event, 846 sales associates volunteered a combined total of 3,341 hours to support 64 different organizations and causes. Through their efforts, the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation raised $22,775 for charitable causes. Sales associates also collected $9,000 worth of food, $1,500 in pet supplies and $8,400 in other goods for various organizations.
