Cops: 'Aggressive' Coyote Captured in Bergen County As School Takes Precautions
Norwood public school official said students will remain indoors during school for the rest of the week as a precaution.
Students at Norwood Public School will remain indoors during school hours for the rest of the week after an aggressive coyote was captured Monday night and two dens found near the school, police said.
Interim Superintendent and Principal Bert Ammerman told NorthJersey.com that the district would continue to have that policy in place “until we feel comfortable.”
Norwood Police reported on their Facebook page Monday night that the animal was captured and would be tested.

A Facebook user Sunny Ha asked police on Facebook if the captured animal is the same one that attacked the tires on a police car on Villa Court recently. Police responded by stating that they are “very confident that we caught the same animal.”
Police suggested that all outside activities be postponed this week until they clear out the two dens found on Summit Street.
