'Mega' Blood Drive In Bergen County On Sunday

The World Mission Society Church of God was to host a mega blood drive with an anticipated attendance of
1,100 donors to address the ongoing statewide blood shortage.

The event was to take place at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute Police, Fire & EMS Academies, 281 Campgaw Road, Mahwah on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Keynote speakers will include

Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan, representatives from the New Jersey Hospital Association, the New Jersey State Department of Health and Central Jersey Blood Services.

Seven blood centers from the Tristate area provided 5 donor buses and approximately 90 beds to accommodate Church of God members, family and friends and community members.
