For more than 52 years the Ramapo Valley Railroad has been a holiday tradition in Bergen County and will once again open its doors this season. The massive, permanent layout features everything from modern windmill farms to an operating drive-in movie theater.
The highly computerized model trains will be running on November 17 and 24 and December 1, 8 and 29 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the show is $4 for adults and $1 for children under the age of 12 with a maximum of $10 per family. The Ramapo Valley Railroad is located in the Ho-Ho-Kus VFW building at 620 Cliff Street (down the street from the Ho-Ho-Kus NJ Transit station) and there is plenty of free parking
