Warm-Up to Earth Hour

  1. To generate awareness of Earth Hour when -- on March 29
    between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. -- people worldwide will be turning off
    non-essential lights in support of action on climate change
  2. To alert residents
    of the 5th Congressional District about Congressman Scott Garrett's record on environmental issues (he has received two climate change denier awards)
  3. To ask
    area residents to commit to calling his office on April 1 about the urgent need to address climate change in light of new scientific research.
