A 44-year-old Bayport woman has been charged with robbing two banks and detectives are investigating if she is behind other recent bank robberies as well, police said.

The teller complied with Rigby’s demands and gave her an undetermined amount of cash before Rigby fled the scene in a red vehicle, police said.

Witnesses at the bank provided responding officers with a description of the suspect’s vehicle, which was then spotted a short time later in the vicinity of Hubbards Path in West Babylon, police said.

She is also charged with reckless driving and petty larceny for an unrelated theft from Kohl’s in Bay Shore on Feb. 27, police said.
