Cops: Loaded Gun Found in Man's Car After He Was Kicked Out of Croxley Ales
Man hinted at having a gun to a bartender, who called Rockville Centre Police, officials said.

A Queens man was charged with having a loaded gun, which police found in his car shortly after the suspect was kicked out of a Rockville Centre bar early Friday morning, authorities said.
Rockville Centre Police were called to Croxley’s Ale House at 1:10 a.m. Friday for a disturbance, Nassau Police said. Andrew Howard, 20, of St. Albans, had been asked to leave the bar and made hand gestures at a bartender suggesting he had a gun, police said.

Responding officers found Howard driving the wrong way in a parking lot behind the bar. The defendant ran from the car but was caught a short distance away, police said.

A loaded .38 caliber revolver was on the front passenger seat of Howard’s car, cops said.
No one was reportedly injured.

Howard was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
