Photos: Montauk Fire Department Hosts Pasta Dinner to Benefit Local Resident

The proceeds from the event went to help out Montauk resident Henry O. Sjoman.

The Montauk Fire Department hosted a Pasta Dinner in order to benefit local Montauk resident Henry O. Sjoman, 24, this past Saturday.

Sjoman is currently suffering from a traumatic brain injury he sustained after he was involved in an ATV accident where he crashed head-on with local resident John O. Veitch, 31, by the Montauk Recycling Center this past December.

Friends and family gathered at the Montauk Fire Department to support Sjoman, and to help him pay his medical bills.

In addition to the dinner, Henry Sjoman Fund has been established on GoFundMe, to help raise a total of $250,000 to help Sjoman.

So far, the GoFundMe page has raised $21,878.
