Sag Harbor Fireman's Carnival Runs Until Saturday

Havens Beach in Sag Harbor has been transformed to a carnival playland.

is back, running from Tuesday until Saturday, every night from 5 to 10 p.m.

A fireworks show is slated for Friday night at dusk, according to Pete Garypie, chief of the , which puts on the carnival.

A ferris wheel, rides and games have all been brought in, and firemen will serve up food. No beer is served.

The carnival is back for a third year, after a brief hiatus since 2005. It is the only carnival east of Bridgehampton and a local favorite.

Armbands are available at the carnival grounds, Garypie said.
