Springs School Principal to Take Medical Leave of Absence

Springs Principal Eric M. Casale announced he will be taking a medical leave in a message on the Springs School website.

“It seems I will need spinal surgery. This will cause me to be out for a few weeks,” the message reads. “However, I want to assure you the Board of Education and the administration are on top of the situation.”

At a special meeting on Thursday morning, the Springs School Board announced Christopher Sarlo will serve as substitute principal during Casale’s medical leave of absence from January 5 to January 31, according to 27east.
